The ultimate collection of holiday sides recipes!

It’s that time of year when everybody’s social media feeds are packed with two things, often combined: pumpkins and desserts. You know it’s true.

So once we’ve got dessert all planned, how about the rest of the holiday table? Personally, I think holiday sides are the best part of Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I also suspect that most people don’t get too excited about them or switch them up too often — and that presents its own problems when you need to stay away from classic versions of those dishes. When you’re looking to fill your plates with holiday sides that satisfy the spirit of the holidays and your dietary needs, it can be a little tough to find recipes that do both. This is especially tricky if you’re not hosting and need to bring a dish to share: you want to bring a dish or two that will work for you because they’re allergy and AIP friendly, but you don’t want to be stuck in the corner eating “special” food on your own that other people avoid, either!

But don’t worry, I’ve got you covered! I’ve brought together over 100 holiday sides recipes from my favorite blogger friends that are nutrient dense and yet so delicious you can share them with your loved ones, however they choose to eat. (You should probably make extras. Just saying.) I’ve got holiday sides that run from salads, starches, stuffings, extra veggies, sauces, gravies and more! I’ve included everything from traditional favorites to recipes with nice twists on classic flavors if you’re looking to switch it up a little. You’ll never believe it but ALL of these holiday sides are grain, gluten, dairy, corn, soy, egg, nut, seed and nightshade free. Phew!

Before I get to the recipes, I’ve got to give a shout out to the amazing AIP community of bloggers that has made this possible. Just a few years ago, I don’t think I would have come CLOSE to being able to share so many allergy friendly holiday sides in one place!
