66 Paleo Thanksgiving Recipes {including drinks!}

“What are you having for Paleo Thanksgiving dinner?” seems to be a kind of constant question lately! Since I’m going to be on this Whole30 until after the holiday, Paleo Thanksgiving isn’t something that I’ll be doing this year, so I figured I would take the spare time I have to put together a list of recipe ideas for you guys!

Personally, I think Thanksgiving is pretty forgiving when it comes to Paleo. The bare bones – Turkey, cranberry sauce and vegetables – aren’t too bad. Where it starts to get a little more difficult is with the carbs and the extras: sweet potatoes getting doused in more sugar and eating more dinner rolls than dinner aren’t going to help us stay away from grain-brain-induced stupors. So! Here are 66 great alternative recipes that will cover everything you need for a Paleo Thanksgiving – including drinks. Because, reasons.

  1. I’m Whole30-ing through thanksgiving too because I decided it was just more important than pie.
    To make it happen, I offered to make all the sides for my family so I can ensure they are compliant. I might use one or two of these to round out my options! Thanks!

    1. That’s awesome – great idea! We’re going to finish up this Whole30, take a day off to do our belated Thanksgiving (food will be compliant, but I totally want a glass of red wine, ha!) and then get back on the Whole30-esque train til Christmas. It won’t be the full 30 days, but we’d like to keep up the clean eating until then 🙂 Hope the rest of your Whole30 goes well!
