Tropical Papaya Smoothie Bowl with Ginger & Turmeric

- Yield: 1 - 2 smoothie bowls (about 2/12 cups / 600 ml) 1x
For the smoothie
- 1 1/2 cups / 185 g very ripe fresh or frozen papaya
- 1/2 cup / 75 g fresh or frozen pineapple
- 1/2 a small banana (about 2 oz / 55 g)
- 1/4 cup / 50 g avocado (about 1/2 small)
- 2 scoops collagen peptides
- 1/2 cup / 120 ml full fat gum free coconut milk
- 1/4 cup / 60 ml water or ice
- Juice of one lime
- 1 tbsp / 12 g fresh peeled ginger
- 1/2 tsp ground turmeric
- Pinch or two of black pepper, omit for AIP
Choose your own adventure toppings
- BLEND: Add all of the smoothie ingredients to a high powered blender and blitz until completely smooth.
- TOP: Pour the papaya smoothie into a bowl (or bowls). Top with your choice of toppings and eat immediately!
